I’ve always been baffled by how food photographers capture steam- have you ever tried? It’s pretty difficult. The other participants in the spring forward photo challenge knocked this challenge out of the park. One went straight for the tea kettle blowing like an old steam engine and another went with a misty morning showcasing her town’s surprisingly beautiful fog. One up in Alaska took a selfie of her frosty eyelashes from her breath freezing on her big pretty brown eyes. I was pretty amazed!
My shots aren’t anything to write home about, but I was glad to have an excuse to practice capturing steam. I certainly haven’t mastered it, but I did learn more about it!
